Casual Battle Royale debuts in REDSEC
Casual Battle Royale is a new REDSEC mode that mixes real players with bots, made for learning the mode or relaxing with your squad, and stats are not tracked in Casual or Portal modes that fill with AI.
A new REDSEC mode mixes real players with bots, aimed at learning the mode or just playing with a squad.
- Casual Battle Royale arrived in REDSEC on June 30 as part of High-Value Target, Season 3's final phase. EA describes it as a player-and-bot mixed combatant environment for those looking to learn the rules of engagement, practice their skills, or simply kick back with the squad. The same page carries a footnote that stats in any Casual or Portal mode that backfill with AI are not tracked. EA has not published how many bots a match contains, how they scale against real players, or which map and squad size it uses.
TipIf you have been away a while, warm up here before queueing standard Battle Royale: EA pitches it at learning the rules of engagement, practicing your skills, or kicking back with the squad. A footnote on the same page says stats in any Casual or Portal mode that backfill with AI are not tracked, but EA does not confirm that this mode is one of them, so do not count on the session staying off your record. Treat every contact as a real player anyway, because EA does not say how many bots are in a match or whether they are marked.
