Limb-damage reduction under validation
Arm and leg hits may soon take one more bullet to kill with several weapon types while headshots stay the same, and Hollow Point and Synthetic Tip ammo are being adjusted; nothing is final yet.
DICE signalled a TTK direction: arm/leg hits may need an extra bullet, headshots unaffected.
- Per the Mar 5, 2026 community update, the team is validating a limb-damage reduction across several weapon archetypes (arms/legs may require an additional bullet) while headshots remain unaffected
- Hollow Point and Synthetic Tip ammo effectiveness is also being adjusted. No broad TTK reduction was announced; focus is combat clarity.
TipIf this ships, center-mass and head hits matter more than chip damage. Hollow Point / Synthetic Tip loadouts may shift in value, so re-check your ammo attachment after any patch that lands this.
