New two-seat jet: F-74A Seacat with swing wings
The F-74A Seacat is a new two-seat fighter jet with swing wings that adjust in flight, built for speed, manoeuvrability and dogfights.
A two-seat Top Gun fighter jet whose variable-sweep wings adjust during flight.
- Added with Game Update 1.4.2.0 on August 18, 2026, with the new content unlocking at 12:00 UTC.
- EA describes it as a two-seat Top Gun fighter jet whose variable-sweep wings adjust during flight, built for speed, maneuverability, and aerial combat.
- Like the Super Spectre it is flown in the jets-only REDSEC mode Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep, and it was added to the Portal SDK in the same update. EA published no handling or performance figures for it.
TipIf you have not flown since before this update, check the new assisted aircraft control option it added. EA says it guides the aircraft toward the center of the camera view while managing pitch, roll, and yaw for you. Jet landing gear physics were also changed in the same update, which EA says gives better control on take-off, landing, and taxiing.
