• Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep is a new REDSEC mode built around high-intensity dogfights and flown in the new 2-seat fighter jets, with EA's pitch being to bring your wingman along in the jet. EA describes the loop as sweeping in to obliterate hostile forces, breaking left to evade incoming anti-aircraft fire, and sending the rival squadron crashing down to lock in the win. EA lists it under the Top Gun Limited Time Event as one of two new themed modes, alongside Carrier Strike, and it arrived on August 18. EA did not publish squad sizes, round structure, or an end date for the event.
