RHIB changes in Battlefield 6

The Light Transport Boat from REDSEC is now in multiplayer, a nimble four-seat boat with a mounted machine gun.

• The Light Transport Boat previously exclusive to REDSEC is now in multiplayer. Four seats, mounted machine gun, built for agility.

TipThis is the squad taxi - use it to cross open water quickly, and switch to the RCB-90 when you actually need to fight another boat.

The RHIB handles more nimbly and is easier to point, starts up faster and more smoothly, sits on the water better, and its speed and RPM gauges now work.

• Completed a broader polish pass focused on improving RHIB handling and overall usability.
• Improved audio presentation while turning and when impacting waves and the water surface.
• Improved handling to make the RHIB feel more nimble and easier to point.
• Reduced abrupt force changes when coming out of ignition and shortened ignition time.
• Updated the RHIB’s speed and RPM gauges so they now function correctly.
• Updated boat hull simulation to improve how the RHIB interacts with the water surface.

The RHIB can no longer be entered while it is capsized.

Prevented entry into a capsized RHIB.
