RCB-90 changes in Battlefield 6

Mortar crews on the Patrol Boat and the Deployable Mortar can now see laser-designated targets, and the RCB-90 can now be lased, with its guided missile giving a proper lock-on warning.

Laser-designated targets now show up for mortar crews, and the RCB-90 itself can finally be lased as intended.

• Laser-designated targets are now visible while using the Patrol Boat Mortar and Deployable Mortar, which EA says lets Recon players coordinate fire support more effectively. The RCB-90 Patrol Boat can now be laser designated as intended. Its Aim-Guided Missile now appears correctly in the Killcard and provides the intended lock-on warning when targeting an enemy, and it can be diverted by flares once it enters its self-guidance phase. Naval Mine visual states on the Patrol Boat also remain synchronised for all players.

TipRecon can now spot for a squadmate sitting on the Patrol Boat Mortar or a Deployable Mortar, because the lased target is visible to whoever is firing it. Going the other way, your Aim-Guided Missile now warns the target it is locked, so expect flares and evasion where a launch used to land quietly.

The RCB-90 is a new two-seat armoured patrol boat: the gunner fires customisable mortar shells and the driver has an autocannon and missiles, but it is slower than the Light Transport Boat.
