  Crashed Carrier POI added to Fort Lyndon

  USS Grant is a new Crashed Carrier POI off the Fort Lyndon coast in Battle Royale with better loot than standard POIs, which gives squads a reason to drop on the coastline early.

  • USS Grant is a US aircraft carrier that was brought down off the coast of Fort Lyndon, adding an all-new Crashed Carrier POI to Battle Royale where squads can drop in and contest the deck. EA says it offers higher-value loot than standard POIs on the map, giving squads another reason to target the coastline early. EA also said it would be marked as a High Value Zone for the first few weeks after launch to make it easier to spot when deploying, so that tag was time-limited from the start. EA published no figures for how much better the loot is.

  TipEA only promised the High Value Zone marker for the first few weeks after launch, so do not count on the game flagging the wreck when you deploy - learn where it sits on the Fort Lyndon coastline first. EA's own note says the loot is the draw, so plan for company on the deck rather than a quiet landing.
