Team-Up System rebuilt from the ground up
The Team-Up system, which gives bonus abilities to certain heroes on the same team, has been rebuilt; old pairings were reworked and many new Team-Up Abilities were added across the roster.
- What Team-Ups are: Marvel Rivals' hero-synergy system - put specific characters on the same team and they unlock bonus Team-Up Abilities (one hero anchors and grants a partner an extra ability or buff).
- In Season 9 this whole system was rebuilt: the old pairings were reworked and a wave of brand-new Team-Up Abilities was added across the roster.
TipBefore you lock a comp, open each hero's Team-Up tab in-game - the pairings you remember are likely gone or changed. When you pick a hero, check who they now synergise with, because a good Team-Up can matter more than the hero's raw stats.
