Devotion changes in Apex Legends

The Devotion no longer turbocharges when you equip a purple barrel, magazine and stock.

The Devotion loses its extra scaling from high-tier barrels and stocks and holds fewer rounds per magazine, and its reverse hipfire spread is wider.

The Devotion spins up faster with a purple barrel, stock and mag equipped, blue barrels and stocks now match the old purple ones, and the purple mag holds more rounds.

• New perk: equipping a purple tier barrel, stock, and mag will turbocharge the Devotion, reducing its spin-up time

TipA full purple barrel, stock and mag cuts the Devotion's spin-up. Prioritise finishing that set over a gold attachment on another gun.

The Devotion deals more damage per bullet.

The Care Package Devotion gets the Gun Shield Generator and reaches its best hipfire accuracy after fewer shots, and its empty reload speed changes.

The Devotion and Havoc deal slightly less damage when the Turbocharger is equipped.

The Devotion deals less damage and less on headshots, has a shorter headshot range, and is slower to reload, draw and swap.

TipUse single shots at range instead of beaming; lean on headshots less since the multiplier dropped.

The Devotion is gone from the normal loot pool and is now a crate weapon, with Turbocharger functionality built in and its own set magazine size and ammo stock.
