Lifeline changes in Apex Legends

Lifeline's D.O.C. Halo takes longer to come back, and hands-free D.O.C. revives now run at the same speed as non-support Legends.

• D.O.C. Halo: increased cooldown to 180s (was 150)
• Hands-free D.O.C.: revive is now the same speed as non-support Legends

Lifeline's Level 2 upgrades are Battpack and Extended Flight, which keeps D.O.C. flying longer, and Level 3 offers more D.O.C. assignment range or a shorter tactical cooldown.

UPGRADES / From the Rift: Level 2: Extended Flight: Increase time before D.O.C. runs out of fuel by 1.5s.

Lifeline's Gold-Plated upgrade now gives a Battery instead of a Gold EVO Cache.

Upgrade - Gold-Plated: replaced Gold EVO Cache with Battery

Lifeline's new Tactical Cooldown++ brings D.O.C. back as fast as it lasts so it is always up, and Gold-Plated replaces Gift Wrapped so the next Package drops Golden Gear.

In modes with Legend Upgrades, Lifeline's Care Package no longer drops Armor; that slot now has an even chance of an extra piece of smart equipment or a large consumable.

In modes with Legend Upgrades, Lifeline's Care Package now has a 50/50 chance to drop an extra piece of smart equipment (vs. large consumable) instead of an Armor

Lifeline is slowed less when starting a revive, and the Care Package ultimate drops faster and can be called in farther away.

TipYour revive is less vulnerable but packages arrive quicker; adjust positioning timing since the drop zone window is tighter for rotations.

Lifeline's revive no longer puts up a shield, but it can now revive two players at once and be cancelled; the D.O.C. drone heals faster and starts sooner, and Care Packages come more often with guaranteed upgrades.

• Combat Revive: No longer deploys a shield. Can now revive two players at the same time. Can now cancel active revives in progress to allow your teammate to defend themselves with their knockdown shield.
• D.O.C. Heal Drone: Heal rate increased from 5hp per second to 8hp per second.
• Deployment time before healing begins reduced by roughly 33%.
• Care Package: Cooldown reduced from 6 minutes to 5 minutes. Now guarantees an upgrade (if possible) in three categories: Body Shield, Other Equipment (Helmet, Backpack, and Knockdown Shield), and Weapon Attachment, based on your team’s current gear when the Package arrives.

Lifeline finds secret compartments in more loot bins, but those compartments no longer contain Knockdown Shields.

TipAs Lifeline, stop skipping bins: the compartment triggers more often and a knockdown shield can no longer take up the slot. Route through bin clusters rather than looting them on the way past.

Lifeline's D.O.C. heal drone is now destroyed after two ticks of ring damage, so it cannot keep healing you for long outside the ring.

D.O.C. heal drone now gets destroyed after 2 damage ticks by the circle.
