Triple Take
The Triple Take fires faster while aiming down sights and the blue magazine holds one more shot, so it puts out more damage per second when scoped in.
- Increased rate of fire while in ADS.
- Blue magazine 8 → 9
Season 28 Breach February 2026
- NERFWeapons / Marksman Weapons

- Slightly increased choke time
Season 27 Amped November 2025

- Damage reduced to 22 per bullet (was 23)
- Increased choke charge time
- Increased fire rate while hipfiring
Season 25 Prodigy May 2025
- BUFFWeapons / Marksman
Triple Take [Care Package]
The Triple Take does more damage per bullet, fires faster, chokes much quicker and now has a Gun Shield Generator.
- Damage per bullet 22 → 23
- Increased rate of fire
- Choke speed significantly increased
- Gun Shield Generator added
TipUse the faster choke to shorten your peeks: start it behind cover, fire as you step out, then pull back instead of holding the angle while it tightens.

Season 24 Takeover February 2025
- CHANGEWeapons / Marksman
Triple Take
The Triple Take does more damage per bullet and its bullets are slightly bigger at long range, so distant shots are a little easier to land.
- Damage per bullet 21 → 22
- Headshot damage: 105 (all bullets)
- Slightly increased projectile size at long range
TipProjectile size grows only slightly and only at long range, so treat it as forgiveness on shots you already take, not a reason to reposition. The headshot figure needs every bullet on the head, so centre the mark.

Season 23 From the Rift November 2024
- CHANGEWeapons

Triple Take
The Triple Take gets bigger projectiles, better hipfire spread, a tighter choked pattern and uses one ammo per shot, with the purple mag holding more shots.
- Projectile size increased
- Improved hipfire spread
- Tightened bullet pattern when fully choked
- Ammo per shot 3 → 1
- Magazines sizes adjusted to match the new ammo costs: Purple Mag: Increased to 10 shots (was 9)
TipWatch your ammo discipline closely despite lower per-shot cost; total capacity is much tighter and requires careful economy in extended fights.

- BUFFBalance Updates
Triple Take
The Triple Take fires faster and its choke charges up quicker.
- Rate of fire 1.2 → 1.35
- Choke charge time 1.1 → 0.75

Kinetic Feeder [Peacekeeper, TripleTake]
The Kinetic Feeder hop-up for the Peacekeeper and Triple Take can no longer be found on the floor or crafted.
Removed from floor loot and crafting bundles
TipWeigh the gun you find against whatever else is on the floor rather than against what this hop-up could have turned it into.

Season 12 Defiance February 2022
- CHANGE
Triple Take
The Triple Take's bullets no longer grow in size as they travel and do less damage, so shots need to be more precise and hurt less.
- Removing projectile growth from bullets
- Damage reduced from 23 to 21 per bullet
Season 9 Legacy May 2021
- CHANGE
Triple Take
The Triple Take fires faster, charges quicker, holds its charge briefly after leaving ADS and moves faster while aiming, but spreads more when you aim in the air; the crate version comes loaded with ammo.
- As a crate weapon, it will come with a 9 ammo clip and 63 reserve ammo
- Fire rate 1.2 → 1.3
- Time to full charge 1.1 seconds → 1 second
- Retains charge briefly after leaving ADS
- Move-speed while aiming down sights has been increased to match other marksman weapons -- faster than snipers, slower than ARs
- Increased spread while airborne and aiming down sights
TipIt keeps its charge briefly after you leave ADS, so you can unscope to reposition and come back on target without starting the charge over. Keep both feet down, since airborne scoped shots now spread wider.
