    • Absolute Zero start-up reduced and projectile speed increased from 60 to 80 m/s.
    • New Ability: Luna can apply Number One Idol to herself, converting 10% of healing to allies into self-healing, granting herself a 10% Healing Boost and 10% Damage Boost.

    TipYou now have solo healing sustain - activate Number One Idol when you're playing aggressive or need to frontline. Absolute Zero lands faster, so use it more liberally in close-range teamfights.

    Blade's Ancestral SwordLMB and Whirlwind Slash hit a little harder, but Bloodline AwakeningE cuts enemy healing by less than before.

    • Whirlwind Slash single-hit damage increased from 15 to 16
    • Bloodline Awakening reduced healing decreased from 35% to 25%.

    TipBoth your slashes hit harder and you suppress enemy healing less, making you a less controlling duelist.

  • 1. Grounded Flyers: Fixed a bug where, under certain special circumstances, flying heroes could sometimes be grounded for good after being shot down. Now, our airborne heroes and villains are cleared for takeoff!
  • 2. Baton Blitz: Daredevil's Devil's Throw was dealing more bounces than even Matt Murdock could sense when targeting tightly-packed enemies. We've put a cap on his ricochets, now justice strikes the right number of times!
  • 3. Gamma Glitches: In unstable network conditions, Hulk's Incredible Leap could cause hit sounds to play without smashing out any damage. Now, Hulk's leaps land with the force of a true Avenger; puny bugs no more!
  • 4. Tempest Transparency: Occasionally, under special circumstances, after unleashing a Jeff-Nado, Storm's view would lose some of its electrifying effects. The weather's clear again; Storm's vision is now as sharp as her lightning!

  • The countdown to 2026 begins! New York City Mayor Wilson Fisk will host the grand New Year's Ball Drop at Times Square, joining citizens in welcoming the stroke of midnight. Happy New Year, Rivals!
  • Ceremony: December 31st, 2025, at 20:00:00 to January 1st, 2026, at 01:00:00 (NY Local Time)
  • From January 1st, 2026, at 00:00:00 to January 3rd, 2026, 00:00:00 (NY Local Time), enter Times Square to receive the "New Year 2026" title via in-game mail.
  • (For one hour before and after the ball drop, a certain trickster's Ultimate Ability will be temporarily disabled!)

  • 1. PlayStation Cup gets a major upgrade! From January to March 2026, Marvel Rivals' PlayStation Cup will feature all-new real-time opponent matching, offering a fairer and more forgiving tournament experience. Participants will play until 3 wins or 2 losses, with final rewards based on victories. There are still no rank restrictions; assemble your PlayStation pals and join the action! Note: PlayStation Cup Factions must be formed separately and do not share roster with Marvel Rivals Championship Factions.
  • 2. The Marvel Rivals Championship (MRC) and tournament history pages now feature historical leaderboard displays.

  • 1. Rogue's Recall: Fixed a bug where, under high network latency, Rogue's Fatal Attraction could be interrupted and cause desynchronization, pulling her back unexpectedly. Rogue's moves are now smoother than ever!
  • 2. Widow's Vanishing Act: Fixed a rare issue where after being defeated and entering spectator mode, players could sometimes lose sight of Black Widow's Ultimate Ability weapon model and its related UI prompts. Widow's arsenal is back in view!
  • 3. Cloak & Dagger Toggle Trouble: Fixed an issue where setting the Switch Form key to the mouse wheel in Dagger form mistakenly applied it to Cloak form as well. Now you can assign keys separately; no more switching confusion!
  • 4. Cloak's Shielded Shadows: Fixed a bug where Cloak's Darkforce Cloak ability could occasionally fail to target and damage Guardian Shield when Invisible Woman was behind it. Shadows now reach their mark!
  • 5. Accessory Anomaly: The Cloak & Dagger Plush accessory within Invisible Woman's Ultimate Ability could be seen by heroes outside its range. The plushies now stay hidden as intended; stealth restored!

  • 3. Emma Frost's Mind Control Mayhem: When equipped with the Hellfire Protocol costume, Emma Frost's Psychic Spear ability produced excessively loud hit sounds for affected players. Her psychic attacks are now subtle; no more mental noise!

  • Hungry for some hero fuel? This week, Pym's Test Kitchen has upgraded its food truck and Pym-ini Sandwiches:
  • 1. Food Truck Cooldown Reduced: We've super-charged Ultron-1's code to crank out those sandwiches even faster (he seems happy about it). The Pym Test Kitchen food truck now refreshes every 30 minutes!
  • 2. Visual Feast: Most of the visual effect issues from consuming Pym-ini Sandwiches have been polished and fixed. Your ups and downs now look extra epic.

  • 2. Cloak & Dagger's Light Show: Fixed a rare bug where using Light's Embrace and Ultimate Ability simultaneously could cause the ultimate to lose its visual effects. The duo's powers are back to dazzling!
  • 3. Adam Warlock's Resurrection Relocation: Reviving teammates with Adam Warlock's ultimate at certain locations could resurrect them at the spot they were defeated. Now, heroes return to battle where they're meant to; no more ghostly glitches!
  • 4. Rogue's Tumble Trouble: If Rogue collided mid-air with an enemy using Chrono Kick Combo, and that enemy was defeated during the crash, Rogue could remain knocked down for longer than intended. She now springs back into action with X-tra resilience!
